[Elena's at the controls for the Enclosure. She was going to go for an outdoor run rather than hitting the treadmill just to...get away from the Barge in a sense, but that's clearly not going to happen.]

I know everyone's getting settled and there may be more important things to worry about, but the Enclosure seems to be down.

[She presses a few buttons to show the lack of response.]

It's probably related to the electrical problems, but I just wanted everyone to get heads up.

[As she starts making her way back towards her room.]

[Elena doesn't think, she just kisses Abigail. It's a hard and desperate kiss, but it's also relieved because even if that's not a complete yes, even if she knows without a doubt how much Abigail loves her, the future is just too damn uncertain. She keeps her forehead resting against Abigail's when she breaks the kiss.]

We'll figure it out, [she promises, softly.] When the time comes, we will.

[Her breathing is slow and shallow, both from the kiss and from trying so hard not to cry. She doesn't want to cry in front of Elena. She wants to be happy and bright for her, make her days better, not worse. She wants to be everything that Elena deserves - which is everything in the world - for as long as she possibly can.]

Okay.

[She smiles, a small smile but no less real for that.]

I trust you.

At least one of us does.

[She's kidding, of course. Elena has tried her best to make the right choices. Or even when she's knowingly making a bad choice to trust herself enough that good will come of it in the end.]

[But really she's only able to joke like this because she's certain that they're going to be okay. No matter what happens, Elena and Abigail will find a way to be okay. They have both survived their own personal hells and come out the other side stronger. Happier. They'll figure it out. Just like Elena says they will.]

[She's right. When she's less in the moment, less scared, Abigail will know it too. They're two of the strongest people she knows.]

You want to get lunch or something? I still have to eat, even when everything's falling apart.

Sure. [Elena smiles.] But let's get it to go. I think I know a really good corner of the garden that'd be perfect for a lunch date.

[She grins, holding out her hand for Elena to take and lead the way.]

Okay. Just the two of us.

[Elena's smile widens and brightens in the face of Abigail's as she places her hand in Abigail's. It's gonna be okay. But right now? They're off to have a really good lunch and maybe make out a little bit.]
