I've been thinking a lot since we were able to talk to people from home.

I've never really been away from home before until now. Not for a really long time anyway. Not like this. I miss the people there, but...

[There's a small pause.]

I'm not sure if I want to go home. I don't mean staying on the Barge. I know that once I'm done here, I'm done. But just...staying in Mystic Falls? I don't know if I can go back to my life like that. I don't know if I can go back to the same people like that.

Does anyone else feel like that?

It's another long story that actually goes back a thousand years. But the short version is that my blood could create new lines of vampires if you knew the spell and it was also the key to breaking a curse on the first hybrid.

It also helped create hybrids, too.

One of the Originals had a werewolf for a father. The others are werewolves that he turns. It's not great though. Every hybrid is sired to Klaus directly. They have to do everything he says.

If he could, anyway. He can't make anymore hybrids without doppelganger blood. One good thing about dying and becoming vampire, at least.

Hybrids can only be killed if their hearts are removed or if they're decapitated.

They're even more dangerous to vampires. Single bite and you're dead.

That's why I freaked out when we were on that other Barge. Werewolves have a toxin their bites that kills vampires.
