[Elena likes to spends her time surrounded by nature. She's been on the Barge for a while now, but the cold metals of most of the Barge is unsettling to her and she'd much rather spend time surrounded by green. So, she's taken herself to the CES. She still finds it so fascinating that it's able to create a fake world like this that seems so real without the assistance of magic, but she doesn't bother trying to pick it apart and instead simply enjoy what's there.]

[Elena has spread out a blanket and a few pillows where she is seated. She's brought food and drink with her as well. She's settled herself down beside a quiet brook in the middle of the woods. She feels right at home here. Elena is smiling when the communicator is turned on. She's using magic to hold it away from herself. It still feels strange being able to use it so openly, but you won't hear any complaints from her.]

If anyone should like to join me in the CES for a picnic, you are welcome to. I've brought enough to share.

((ooc: all responses will from from persanguinem. elena is a witch a la merlin. she was orphaned as a baby and raised by a noble family. she's since faked her death after she learned she could do magic to spare her family the shame.))

[Needy really isn't sure what to make of Lady Elena. She seems nice, sure, but she's open about her magic in a way that's alarming, considering the Troubled are persecuted and ostracized in a way in her world not unlike that in Elena's own.

Still, nerves aside, she misses greenery too. She misses...relaxing. And feeling normal. Or, being able to pretend, anyway.]

Who else do you think is coming?

I'm not sure. I suppose more of the wardens will come than inmates.

[She says this without judgment, however. Elena has spent much of her life being afraid of what she is and fearing how others will react to it that she doesn't put much stock into the idea that all inmates are really that bad. Some just need direction. Guidance.]

[Needy sort of resents being told she needs 'guidance', out loud or otherwise. She's more weakwilled now, not quite having the full test of fire she had otherwise, but she still feels what she did was unavoidable.

But it's not so much the wardens she's afraid of, here.]

I hope that you will. I know it's only... [She pauses a moment, trying to remember the words that were taught to her when she first arrived.] ...computer-generated, but it's still a lovely day outside. Quiet.
